Reneé Pettitt-Schipp

Poet and writer

Reneé has a doctorate in Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry, which drew on three years of experience with asylum seekers in detention, while working as a school teacher. More recently, she has witnessed environmental destruction and its corollary, environmentalism, including the Roe 8 campaign. Since moving to Denmark, Reneé has connected with Noongar Elders and their stories, colonial history and the plight of Country. Her poetry and writing bear witness to these experiences.
