Balijup: A jewel in the Gondwana Link

From Green Skills, this film introduces Balijup – a special property in the Great Southern region and a vital link in the Gondwana Link. Settled by the Hordacre family in the 1920s, it is now a shining example of landcare. It comprises over 700 hectares of lakes, wetlands, bush and plantations, as well as 120 hectares of cropland. Green Skills has partnered with the owners on an exciting range of nature restoration, citizen science, eco-art and Noongar cultural projects, as well as the Balijup Fauna Sanctuary.
